Bio
I was born in Beijing, raised in Canada, and spent most of my career in San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2019, I’ve been location independent and chasing my curiosities in understanding business and startup ecosystems across the world.
I’m the co-founder of BETA Camp, a fully virtual program that teaches high school students business and life skills through building their own revenue-generating startup. In the first year of operations, we have impacted 200+ students across 9 countries. We designed a unique way to teach large cohorts while maintaining an individualized learning experience, our own approach to making enrichment education more accessible, and built out a team of 10 to support our high growth.
Before BETA Camp, I was a manager on the Business Development team at Wish (#1 downloaded shopping app in 2018 and 2019) where I led strategic partnerships, merchant onboarding, and sales operations of top brands like Samsonite, Cole Haan, and BHFO. After leaving Wish, I consulted for various tech startups that wanted to expand into e-commerce, like a gaming startup that wanted to build a rewards marketplace and a wholesale distributor that wanted to enter D2C.
Prior to Wish, I was a senior growth analyst at fin-tech startups Vouch and Lending Club and worked for 8 months in management consulting at Mercer and Fortune Consulting in Beijing, China.
During university, I co-founded a health-tech startup (acquired) and an escape room in Toronto, Canada.
Today, I angel invest and advise startups 👼
